ERIC SINGER, JORN LANDE, AMANDA SOMERVILLE To Perform With AVANTASIA At Upcoming Festivals

November 29, 2007

According to a posting on the MySpace page of Amanda Somerville — the American-born, Germany-based singer-songwriter and vocal coach who is better known for her collaborations with various European metal bands, including EPICA, AFTER FOREVER and EDGUY — she will be performing on stage with AVANTASIA (the solo project of EDGUY frontman Tobias Sammet) during the band's upcoming 2008 concerts. "I'll be appearing on stage with Tobi, Sascha [Paeth], Eric Singer [KISS, ALICE COOPER], Bob Catley [MAGNUM], Jorn Lande [ex-MASTERPLAN] and a few other amazing people," she said. "The shows will most definitely do some serious rocking."

AVANTASIA's "Lost in Space - Part 1" and "Lost in Space - Part 2" EPs recently entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 9. It is the highest single chart entry in the history of Nuclear Blast Records.
